| How to Get Started
with Online Backup |

| If
you are not sure about how to download, install,
or register for Online Backup, simply follow
these steps and begin securing your data now. |

1.
Download the installer software.

You will see a dialog box similar to: |
Select
Run this program... and
click
OK to start downloading the install.
Note: it will probably take a
few minutes to save the install
to your computer. |

2.
Install the software

If you selected
to save the installer software that
you downloaded from our download page,
locate that file and double-click it
to begin installation. |
2.
The setup wizard will walk you
though the simple steps necessary
to install
the program and register a free
trial backup account
(trial
account available for critical
only and data only
plans ONLY). |

3.
Sign-up!
 |
- If you wish
to convert the "Critical Files"
or "Data Only" plan to
a paying account, you can enter
your credit card information through
the "Options > Billing"
feature built into the SystemSafe
software. All credit card submissions
are protected with the same encryption
as your backup set.
- If you wish to
subscribe to the "Full System"
version, you can upgrade a "Data
Only" free trial account to
"Full System". Please
send an email to support@netmass.com
for instructions on how to do so.
- If you wish to
upgrade to the "Network Drive"
version, please uninstall your free
trial account, install a new account,
and select the "Network Drive"
option during the installation.
- There is no upgrade
path from the "Critical Files"
plan to any other plan, so you would
need to uninstall your free trial
account, install a new account,
and select your desired service
plan.

Initial
Backup Note:
The upload
time for your initial backup is proportional
to the amount of data you are backing
up. Initial backups can sometimes
last more than one overnight session.
With our
Online Storage Restart Technology,
you may stop or delay the backup at
anytime if you need to use your computer.
When resumed, the backup will continue
to send any previously unsent files.
In subsequent backups, the backup
software backs up only new and changed
files, so backup times are greatly
reduced.
